Renewal for Visa On Arrival Nationalities

VISA ON ARRIVAL NATIONALITIES

As of the moment, there are more than 50 nationalities who do not require a pre-arranged visa to enter the United Arab Emirates. That means, they can get a visa on arrival at Dubai Airport, or to any other airports in the UAE.

Eligible nationalities for visa on arrival in the UAE can get either 90 days visa or 30 days visa, depending on the country of citizenship.

VALIDITY OF THE VISA

The validity of the visa also matters. For example, an Italian passport holder can get visa on arrival for 90 days stay from the date of entry.

This passenger can utilize this stay for up to 180 days.

Either, (1) he/she is using the 90 days completely from the 1st entry into the country,

or (2) he/she can utilize 10 days on first entry, or 20 days on the 2nd entry, and another 15 days for the 3rd, and so on. However, the passenger must be fully aware that the accumulated total stay inside the UAE must only be 90 days.

RENEWAL OF THE VISA TO STAY LONGER IN UAE

Renewal of the visa while inside the country (UAE) is possible, if the passenger wanted to stay longer or if the 30 or 90 days stay has been fully utilized.  This is what we called VISA CHANGE INSIDE THE COUNTRY. The passenger has the option to choose which Immigration Office to apply to, (a) Abu Dhabi Immigration, (b) Sharjah Immigration, or (c) Dubai Immigration.

The processing involves the APPLICATION OF THE VISA (30 or 90 days) and the CHANGE STATUS procedure, once the visa is approved. Processing duration will take 1-2 working days.

Renewal cost defers per Immigration Office. Pricing for the adult, child, and infant are all the same.  Please call us at +971 4 447 3839.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE VISA RENEWAL

Every applicant must be fully aware that providing clear documents as per Immigration requirements is mandatory in order to avoid visa rejection. Please do not provide bad copies of your documents to save time.

  • clear, scanned copy of your passport
  • clear, scanned copy of your passport/2×2 size photo with white background
  • copy of your entry stamp on passport from UAE Immigration
  • provide your file number, if available
  • copy of your visa extension, if previously extended
  • birth certificate copy of the child age 18 and below
